Purpose of the Tour
The Back to Roots tour is a series of culturally unique events designed to preserve and promote the musical traditions of the Republic of Moldova.
Each performance will feature re-arranged folk and classical compositions honoring legendary Moldovan artists such as Eugen Doga, Nicolae Sulac, Maria Drăgan, Ion and Doina Aldea-Teodorovici, Anatol DumitraÈ™, Ion Suruceanu, Anatol Dînga, Petru Racoviță, Valeriu Rață, and Anatol Mîndruță.
Through these concerts, the group will introduce Moldovan cultural heritage to diaspora audiences, preserving authentic elements of folk music, dance rhythms, and national identity while using contemporary instrumentation and production.
